Tyson Fury has made a few appearances for WWE in the past and with WrestleMania season fast approaching, WWE had hoped to have him for their big events. But it now appears WWE fans may not get to see the Gypsy King wrestle in WWE anytime soon.
Fans react to the WWE-Tyson Fury situation
The US SUN reported that WWE planned to have Tyson Fury at Royal Rumble and WrestleMania, but the boxer is having visa issues in getting into the country. It is reported that hopes of Fury making it to WWE for these two big events are slim and complicated.
According to the report, the boxing star cannot enter the United States due to his alleged links with Irish mob boss, Daniel Kinahan.
Kinahan is the co-founder of MTK, which represented Fury. Indeed, this is not a good situation for WWE and Fury as both parties would’ve expected to do business and make good money. Fury is perhaps missing out a huge payday with the wrestling promotion.
As this news began doing rounds on social media, fans expressed their feelings about it. One fan wrote, “Brutal Fury and Drew going at it in the rumble then a match at mania would of bn entertaining and what wrestlemania is all about! WWE should try to help Fury get to US. Another user wrote “That sucks. I’d love to see him back in the WWE again.”

I think it’d be cool to have Tyson vs Drew but it wouldn’t really make sense cause they were singing together at CATC loll 😭 https://t.co/FsHKIinfVK

Still quite unfathomable that the heavyweight champion of the world is barred from entering the U.S. Also, those IFL TV viewership numbers have cratered since ol’ Kugan has been barred from entering the States also. https://t.co/cWgwAOcfkg
