Terence Crawford's wrestling skills revealed—Does this make him the most versatile athlete in combat sports?

Cody Rhodes is dealing with a number of issues right now, and it appears like the current Undisputed WWE Champion is the target of several wrestlers. Moreover, he has been feuding with the whole Bloodline for the past several weeks, but it appears like another team: A Town Down Under is now putting out some heat on the current WWE Champion.

Austin Theory and Grayson Waller were on this week’s SmackDown, each hoping to get the numerical edge over Rhodes and beat him in the opening segment. Unfortunately, they were unsuccessful because boxing champion Terence Crawford was present in the front row in the audience and he assisted Cody Rhodes by providing him with a steel chair. This was a significant moment for the WWE Universe, and they erupted during it.

Although we did not get to see Crawford enter the ring, the WWE Universe was convinced that this might happen. The reason for this is Crawford has some professional wrestling background, and having him in the ring with the WWE Champion against some not-so-good guys would have been ideal for tonight’s SmackDown. Overall, this was an excellent segment, and WWE effectively capitalized on the guests who came to attend the program.

Cody Rhodes has a major battle ahead of him

Although Rhodes received a lot of assistance from the boxer on this week’s SmackDown, it appears like he is still in a lot of need right now. As you know, Kevin Owens hasn’t been around much recently, and Randy Orton alone isn’t enough to help the Undisputed WWE Champion battle the Bloodline, so he needs some other superstars to step forward to support him.

According to speculations, the returning Roman Reigns might be the superstar who would assist Cody Rhodes in his struggle against the bloodline. The reason is obvious: they will both face the same enemies and while they have had a match and a quarrel with each other, it is already time for them to get together and put an end to the present Bloodline. Only time will tell us what plans WWE has at this moment regarding the current Bloodline.
