His mainstream appeal, added with WWE’s power to hold shows at every major arena under the sky, would make for one hell of a pairing. Fury is one of the talents that WWE is trying to acquire for more than just a couple of appearances. More people on the list include Conor McGregor, and Serena Williams, among others. Fortunately, we see a clear path for Fury’s next opponent in WWE.
WWE star badmouths Tyson Fury and Wales on live TV
In a backstage interview with Kayla Braxton, Austin Theory talked about cashing in his Money in the Bank suitcase. He said, “At SummerSlam Brock Lesnar ruined my cash-in and at Clash at the Castle, that doofus Tyson Fury ruined my cash-in. The only reason I went to Wales was to become a champion. Because other than that, Wales is pathetic. Come to think of it, it’s like Europe’s version of Winnipeg.”
From this segment, it doesn’t look like Theory has comprehended the brutal punch of Fury. Calling him ‘doofus’ is just another way that Theory would get what is coming to him. In addition to that, he disrespected Wales. It might not be confirmed, but we can expect Fury to kick Theory’s whole being in a match at the upcoming event.

WWE is no stranger to the wrath of Fury. In 2019, he had a storyline with Braun Strowman where the two battled it out in Crown Jewel. Again, earlier this year, he made an appearance at the Wales PPV Clash at the Castle and laid out Austin Theory with nothing but just a punch. Seeing him go at it again with the youngest Money in the Bank holder would be a delight to fans all around the globe.
