Rare Photo Shows Muhammad Ali’s Former Manager Measuring Hulk Hogan’s 24-Inch Biceps

The Hulkamania ran wild throughout the entire ’80s when Hulk Hogan wore the iconic yellow and red. Also, Hogan’s massive physique and strength always made not just the fans, but even managers stunned at times. 

Interestingly, boxing legend Muhammad Ali’s one-match manager once measured The Hulkster’s iconic biceps. A rare picture that popped up on social media shows how the manager was in awe to look at the 24-inch pythons.

It is no secret that sportsmen from other sports also complimented Hulk Hogan’s physique. Back in the day, The Immortal One trained with top bodybuilders, and he himself was an ardent gym freak.

A couple of years ago, a fan shared an old picture of wrestling legend ‘Classy’ Freddie Blassie, measuring Hogan’s biceps. The difference in size between the legendary wrestler and manager Blassie and Hulk Hogan can clearly come as quite a surprise here.

Furthermore, we can see Blassie holding a board with the number 24 on it after measuring it. There is no accurate date and year for this picture, but it seems to have been taken before The Hulkster’s WWE debut. It could surely be before 1983, as Hogan was seemingly new in the business.

Moreover, it’s safe to say that the 24-inch pythons would come as a surprise to even the 12-time world boxing champion, Muhammad Ali, and his one-match manager. ‘Classy’ Freddie Blassie was the manager of Ali when he fought against the late great Antonio Inoki in the ‘Boxer vs Wrestler’, a first-ever boxing and pro-wrestling bout, in 1976. Notably, Blassie has managed Hulk Hogan as well.

Clearly, Hogan’s physique was the talk of the town when he broke into the business. Most notably, many celebrities and fans at the time admired his 24-inch pythons. Still, they’re eye-catching because of their uniqueness.

Fans often call The Louisville Lip one of the G.O.A.T. to step foot in the ring. He was flexible and quick in the ring during his time as an active boxer. He was an icon whose name was synonymous with the boxing industry. Similarly, Hogan is one of the greatest to join the wrestling business and he was the highlight of WWE for more than a decade. 

Nevertheless, once Muhammad Ali and Hulk Hogan took part in a photoshoot along with other stars. In a resurfaced picture on Twitter, we can see both legends posing interestingly.

There were other icons like Cyndi Lauper, Liberace, and Wendi Richter, posing in the picture as well. Furthermore, Ali’s reaction to holding Hogan’s bicep shows that The Immortal One’s pythons definitely surprised the boxing legend.

However, it’s nothing new how, on several occasions, Hogan had surprised various stars with his physique and crowd-pulling performance in the ring.
