The opinions of some veterans of pro wrestling carry a lot of weight. When it’s Ric Flair who shares his opinion about someone in the wrestling business, fans have to take notice. A lot of people do not hold that specific kind of credibility when it comes to rating combat sports athletes. However, Flair’s opinion is something that will hold value. 

Recently, Flair talked about both Jake Paul and Logan Paul in his podcast ‘To Be The Man’., ‘ Since the two have been involved in combat sports individually, they are recognized everywhere. However, oftentimes, their talent is not appreciated and Flair decided to give them their due.

Apart from their fans, not many people like the way that Jake Paul chooses his opponents. Although the popular UFC commentator Joe Rogan considers it a “smart” move, there are a lot of detractors. His brother Logan Paul has been making inroads in WWE and has had a few standout moments from only a handful of matches he has wrestled, but still divides opinions among fans.

However, time and again, both brothers have received good praise from known combat sports celebrities.

This time around, it was Ric Flair in his podcast. The two didn’t have much to do with the majority of the conversation carried out by Flair and his host. Still, their names lit up his face.

Both of those kids are better than some of the guys that do it full time for a living. I’ll stand by that comment all day long,” said the Hall of Famer while speaking on the topic. Flair did not derail even for a second while praising the Paul brothers. He added the reason why the duo has his utmost respect, an opinion that he will stand by all day long.

Why does Ric Flair respect them so much?

As Flair had even mentioned earlier, it’s all about the money for him. While a popular journalist once reviewed one of his promo tactics as being “disgusting”, Flair made fun of the people supporting it by saying how he made so much money out of this disgust.

Similarly, the end goal of the brothers might be about being the best of the fighters, but if they are still earning a great amount of money, that’s all that matters to Flair. The two have put enough hard work into their fighting techniques and promotions that they end up making a lot of money out of their events.
