MVP, Kofi Kingston and WWE Universe Left Shocked by Ex-WWE Star John Morrison’s Violent KO in Boxing Debut

Celebrity boxing matches are becoming a norm these days. Wrestler John Morrison is the latest to don the gloves. He competed last night against Harley Morenstein at Creator Clash 2 and won with aplomb. Not only fans but Morrsion’s colleagues from the past congratulated him for the win.

He prevailed in the third round against Morenstein, knocking him out in the process. This was the former WWE superstar’s first foray into the boxing ring although it did not feel like it. Congratulations were in order for him after his victory.

The former ECW world champion set the tone of the match from the outset only with one of his punches sending his opponent out of the ring. It felt like a matter of time before he ran out the victor in the bout. After his win, Morrison went one step ahead and challenged British-based YouTuber KSI for a boxing clash.

Whether PRIME Hydration drink’s co-owner answers the call remains to be seen. This comes after he recently claimed he can knock out KSI’s business partner Logan Paul in a boxing tussle.

Apart from Morrison’s performance, there was an aspect of his entrance that raised eyebrows. He was accompanied to the ring by a number of superstars from both WWE and AEW.

The former tag-team champion’s entourage consisted of WWE superstars LA Knight, Karrion Kross, and Scarlett Bordeaux aka Scarlett. From the Jacksonville-based company, it was his wife Taya Valkyrie, and Jake Hager formerly known as Jack Swagger that was part of the ensemble.

Other notable names that were present were former WWE superstar Mojo Rawley and legend “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan. This sort of show of strength is unheard of in modern times and naturally caught the public’s eye.

Having dazzled in the squared circle for years, it is time for John Morrison to rule the boxing ring. And if his first performance is to go by, he might have many more knockouts to his name in the near future. Various friends of Morrison were quite impressed by his boxing chops. This can be made out of their elated messages all over social media.
