Shayna Baszler made her WWE main roster debut in 2020 during a segment against Becky Lynch. The segment saw Baszler run down to the ring and bite Lynch’s neck, leaving a mouth full of blood. The segment would make fans cringe and even compare her with a vampire. However, during the interview, Baszler would open up on the infamous segment.

Recently during an interview with ‘Ring the Belle’, she would clarify the allegations about her being a vampire. And, also connect the biting spot with Mike Tyson.

The 42-year-old said, “So, the idea was to just like shock the world. And my debut? I do that, I am trending on all socials. Can’t argue with, it worked. Not a vampire. I still get the vampire one.” She further said, “Look, Mike Tyson isn’t a vampire. Just happened one time. I lost my cool and wanted to shock the world.”

This incident may have reminded boxing fans of Mike Tyson where Tyson bit an opponent, and Baszler connected that infamous spot with her own bloody spot.
