A new era of combat sports?
Fans have always been adamant about pitting their favorite celebrities in the octagon. An example of this is the recent Mark Zuckerberg vs. Elon Musk saga. Even though they are not professional fighters, fans are ready to pay anything to see them clash. Something similar is happening after this merger. Both promotions have a roster that is equally formidable and skilled at the same time. So a crossover event is something fans want to see to maximize the capabilities of both promotions.
