Jake Paul vs. Logan Paul—Who's the real deal in the ring? Let's hear your thoughts!

The rivalry between LA Knight and Logan Paul has boiled over for a few months. Knight showed a huge interest in Paul’s United States Championships, but the Maverick hasn’t put it on the line since clinching the title in November 2023. We all knew it wasn’t going to be easy to get a title shot. Both men fought in a Triple Threat a few weeks ago to enter the men’s ladder match of Money in the Bank, and the victory went to Knight, which gave him reasons to have a title match in the future. Looking ahead to SummerSlam, the major PPV that will take place on August 3, LA Knight is determined to become the United States Champion once and for all. He surely made it clear last week in a direct challenge to Paul, despite him not being present in the arena.

However, this Friday, on SmackDown, both were present on the show and proceeded to sign the contract to make the fight official at SummerSlam with the championship at stake. This surely was a heated segment that got their feud a lot of attention. Logan Paul dropped some major truth bombs at Knight, reminding him that he has never won a title in the WWE despite being and acting like a top star. So while many expected Knight to respond by dropping some truth bombs of his own, he did not. Something that disappointed many. Including a WWE veteran who called out Knight for missing the opportunity.

In the latest edition of the Busted Open Podcast, Mark Henry was a part of the show with Denise Salcedo as they talked about the LA Knight and Logan Paul segment. As we mentioned before, Paul dropped a killer promo where he called out Knight’s inability to win any titles in the Stamford-based promotion.

Something that Knight should’ve responded to by something savage, like name-dropping Jake Paul and revealing how his brother is better than the Maverick. But he did not. This left Mark Henry disappointed, as he believes that Knight surely could’ve hit Paul below the belt as well. Henry gave his idea of what Knight could’ve said in the segment.

He said, “You want to talk truth? Your brother is better than you. The WWE would be better off having him. Why can’t why are you here? You were a mediocre fighter. You broke your hand because you’re fragile. And they say this titanium screw in your hand. You don’t have a titanium screw in your hand. You got put together with paper mache and hot glue.”

Near the end of the segment, the two exchanged words, and tensions increased so much that Nick Aldis had to get in the middle so that they did not come to blows. However, when it appeared that Logan Paul was leaving, he returned to the ring to start a fight with L.A. Knight, but the champion was eventually forced to flee. But it seems like the segment didn’t just end there, as Knight then took to Twitter to continue the feud.

LA Knight sends a message to Logan Paul

Less than 24 hours after their SmackDown segment, LA Knight sent a message through social media to Logan Paul. He stated that the only moment he would need to have was to defeat him in his hometown, Cleveland, and snatch the United States Championship from him. Knight refers in this way to what Paul said to him on SmackDown, stating that throughout his career he has not had a prominent moment. He said, “Low-T @LoganPaul count your days…Taking it all from you in your hometown is the only moment I’ll ever need.”

Despite the fact that he is one of the most popular superstars in WWE today and for just over a year, LA Knight has not been able to win any more titles, not counting the Million Dollar Championship he won in NXT a few years ago. So the WWE will have to give him a title soon to keep him credible as the top-tier talent that they want to portray him as. What do you think? Will LA Knight win the title at SummerSlam?
