“Came to Take Over”: Amid Grueling Feud with Dillon Danis, Logan Paul Makes His WWE Future Plans Clear

Logan Paul is a wrestler, boxer, actor, podcaster, Youtuber, and whatnot. Despite being busy as a bee, he often finds time to add different projects to his resume. Lately, he has been preparing for his upcoming boxing fight with Dillon Danis, scheduled for October.

But that doesn’t mean he has stopped thinking about WWE. Recently, in an interview, Paul claims he ventured into the territory of wrestling because he has a goal in mind. Describing his WWE goals, he outlined his ambitions while performing in the promotion.

Logan Paul wants to win championships in WWE

Appearing on The MMA Hour With Ariel Helwani, Paul disclosed his future plans for WWE and that is to win WWE championships. he stated he didn’t come to WWE just for fun or because he wanted to give the sport a try. His eventual goal in mind is to wear the prestigious belts of the promotion around his waist and shoulders.

He said, “I guess I am technically a full-time wrestler. I am on the roster. I have a contract. And it’s also a goal of mine to get WWE championships. I just didn’t come to partake. I came to take over. And you know to do that you have to hop in and out of the sport, so we got to find time to box, we got to find time to wrestle.” 

Well, it’s clear that Paul is here to stay in WWE and will not consider retiring until he has quenched his thirst for the titles in the Stamford-based promotion. But, for now, he is focused on fighting his upcoming opponent, Danis at the Misfits X DAZN: The Prime Card event.

The much-anticipated buy is going to take place on October 14, Saturday 2023 in Manchester, England. Paul being on one side and Danis being on the other had already made the bout interesting. But the recent controversy surrounding the match has drawn more eyes to both the stars.

A common practice that many sports stars follow is to trash-talk about their scheduled opponent before the occurrence of their match. But sometimes things go too far, which is what happened in this case. Danis is big on trash-talking and has gotten tons of heat lately for it.

While trying to get inside Paul’s head, he used a rather cunning technique which neither Paul nor many people approved of. He made Nina Agdal (Paul’s fiance) his target on social media and publicly shamed her with not an iota of remorse in his eyes. His actions are very polarizing and turned many fans against him. Paul will hope to exact revenge inside the ring after which he will look to work toward his ambitions in the WWE.
