Bobby Lashley‘s contract with WWE expired on the 10th of August this year. The wrestler made it to the alumni page on the website, indicating he may have taken off the internal roster, as rumored. He didn’t reveal much about his career moving ahead until there was a post about what he has been up to.
It seems the rumors about Lashley moving to AEW might disappoint some people because it is seemingly not coming true. Instead, Lashley appears to be getting into non-scripted combat sports instead.

There had been plenty of rumors about the former manager of The Street Profits signing with Tony Khan. There were valid reasons behind it too. After his WWE contract ended, things started moving in a different direction altogether. Leaving wrestling behind, Lashley decided to enter the realm of boxing.
In an interview at ‘The Laboratory with Plaz,’ he revealed the decision to enter the boxing ring in Las Vegas soon. Misfits Boxing, founded by KSI, also has a rumored event in the Sin City, sparking a rumor that he may be signing with them. In an official podcast, the boxing company stated, “One more big announcement, one that sort of got leaked on the Misfits Twitter space, it’s been hinted that WWE star Bobby Lashley has been signed with Misfits.”
Although they didn’t confirm anything, just mentioning the news and educating the viewers about the 48-year-old suggests they might be up to something. Adding fuel to the fire, Lashley also uploaded a post on Instagram where he apparently trains for a boxing match.

During his time in WWE, the Stamford-based company had the beastly wrestler form a new stable along with MVP and two more members. The Hurt Business hit its peak during the Thunderdome era and reigned as champions in the leading wrestling promotion.
However, the creative department ended up booking it in a way that they came to a close and got disbanded. They served different purposes on TV but never got back together despite what fans had to say. Now, both MVP and Bobby Lashley are out of WWE and pursuing their careers apart from pro wrestling.
While Lashley seems to have moved to the sport of boxing, potentially at Misfits, MVP has re-entered Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. The former wrestler is already a black belt in the martial arts. Moreover, he also registered himself with the international federation, responsible for getting him into tournaments.
