Amid KSI’s Elbow Knockout Controversy, Misfits Under Hot Waters Again After AEW Star’s Scathing Response: “Boxing Is Turning Into a Joke”

The YouTuber-boxer-entrepreneur KSI got himself into another controversy, but this time it is in the boxing industry. The industry decorated with elite athletes like Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson is now filled with new stars. But in the modern era, boxing has taken a new turn, which is celebrity boxing.

Stars from all around the world, from different industries, come together to have a friendly/rival boxing match. This not only creates a demand for internet personalities but also brings eyes to boxing. Two of the biggest celebrity boxers right now are Jake Paul and KSI, the latter of whom got himself in a pool of controversy in boxing.

AEW star responds to KSI’s blunder during a recent boxing match

While KSI has won 4 out of his 4 matches but according to some fans, this time he might have flunked. In his recent boxing match against Joe Fournier, KSI scored a knockout victory against the former WBA International lightweight champion. While at the time no one questioned his knockout victory, many were quick to notice that KSI hit Fournier with an elbow which is illegal in a professional boxing match.

But just at the same time, people were looking back at the video where the British YouTuber hit his opponent with an elbow, AEW star Taynara Melo had something to tweet. Without any direct references to the event, the Brazilian star tweeted, “Boxing is turning into a joke bc of some people.”

While the authorities have confirmed nothing yet, fans are saying that they could declare the match as a no-contest. An elbow offense in boxing can even get the boxer disqualified from the match. But as some fans are commenting, this could have been an accident in the heat of the moment.

KSI also disappointed a lot of WWE fans

Coming out to support his business partner, Logan Paul, KSI came out to Paul’s WrestleMania 39 match wearing a Prime outfit. Along with the surprise reveal, he also gave the fans a memorable moment when he went through the commentator’s table. But after that appearance, he crushed the hopes of many WWE fans who liked his appearance in the match.

In a burning questions segment, KSI clearly stated that pro wrestling wasn’t for him. He also added that he would much prefer to watch it from a distance, but the bumps made it difficult for him to get into the sport.
