Hulk Hogan was a huge part of WWE’s success in the 1980s. Though at 68 years of age he looks in perfect shape, Hogan’s injury issues with his back are well documented, with him undergoing many surgeries for the same.

As he began his recovery process after yet another surgery a couple of years ago, ‘The ‘Hulkster’ complimented a world renowned bodybuilder for his toughness.

The bodybuilder in question has won more Mr.Olympia bodybuilding competition titles than the legendary, Arnold Schwarzenegger!

Hogan was referring to none other than the bodybuilding great, Ronnie Coleman.

Coleman is one of the greatest bodybuilders of all time. He has an astonishing 26 IFBB professional titles to his name. He also famously won the prestigious Mr. Olympia title eight years in a row surpassing Arnold.

What Hulk Hogan said about Coleman?

While Hogan has had to get many surgeries to deal with his back issues, Coleman is himself no stranger to extensive surgeries and then working out again.

The former Mr. Olympia revealed on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast that he has had 13 surgical procedures over the years, on his back, hips, and neck.

Despite this, he is still able to train regularly which astonished Hogan.

The former WWE Champion posted a video on his Instagram while working out in which he praised the resilience of the bodybuilding legend Coleman.

“Oowee! Yeah buddy! Ron Coleman, you’re my hero brother. Reaching out dawg. Back surgery number ten brother. Both hips, both knees replaced. Oowee! Yeah buddy! Coming after you brother! Maybe we can team up, have a charity match, win the world titles together!”

The fans were buzzing after Hogan’s post as it was great seeing one legend drawing inspiration from another.

Coleman also commended Hogan’s resilience

Shortly afterwards, Coleman responded to Hogan’s post saying that they could do a tag team match together.

Moreover, Coleman reposted Hogan’s video, commending the wrestler for fighting through so many surgeries himself.

“YEAH BUDDY, Big shoutout to my boy @hulkhogan as we go through this recovery process together! 10 surgeries ain’t no joke but Champions always find a way back to the top 👑x👑

Next time I’m down in Florida we’ll have to get a workout in together.”

It is amazing to see two legends who inspired a generation in their prime, continue to be resilient and lead the way even today.
