“Let’s Get a Picture”: Dwayne Johnson Once Greeted 4-time Mr. Olympia Like a Total Fanboy

Dwayne Johnson has a physique that is the envy of many people. His dedication to bodybuilding and being physically fit is second to none. He trains rigorously in the gym and has said that, at his core, he will always be a bodybuilder.

He often posts videos of his intense workout on social media and shares helpful tips on fitness and training.

Moreover, The Rock has been known to work out with many bodybuilders and celebrities too. Hollywood actors Ryan Reynolds and John Krasinski are among the names that have trained alongside ‘The Great One’.

Dwayne Johnson shared the gym with a bodybuilding legend

Dwayne Johnson has trained with some of the biggest names out there. A few years ago, he caught up with bodybuilding legend and four-time Mr. Olympia winner, Jay Cutler at The Mecca, Gold’s Gym in Venice.

Cutler was training at the gym and caught up with some of his friends and then saw the ‘Jumanji’ actor also arriving for his workout session.

The two legends shook hands and posed for a picture. They also had a brief conversation.

Cutler said, “I was at Pendleton yesterday and said you were just there yeah I wanted to see the troops yesterday.” DJ replied, “Oh nice oh they must have loved you..congrats on hell of a career, brother.”

The former WWE Champion also recalled the first time he saw Cutler, “I remember the first time I saw you. We were in Vegas… at the gym over there. They have a good gym. Let’s get a picture, brother. Good to see you.”

Later, Cutler shared the video of his workout on his YouTube channel while The Rock tweeted the picture of the two icons together, praising the bodybuilder with utmost admiration, like a fan.

It was a moment for both bodybuilding and WWE fans to cherish as two icons of their respective sports showed mutual admiration for each other. It was also fascinating to see ‘The Rock’, who has millions of fans worldwide, genuinely excited to meet Cutler.

While Dwayne Johnson is an A-list celebrity, Cutler is one of the renowned names in the world of bodybuilding. From 2004 to 2011, he finished in the top two of the Mr. Olympia competition, winning it four times. He has also won the Arnold Classic three times, among other titles.

The bodybuilding icon hasn’t competed since 2013, but he has instead set up Cutler Nutrition, a bodybuilding supplement business, and runs other promotions and ventures as well.
