The Hulkster always claimed that his arms were the largest in the world and when you looked at him back in the day, it was hard to argue. Famous bodybuilder Arnold Schwarzenegger himself was a great admirer of Hogan’s amazing physical features.
But two-time Mr. Universe winner and Hollywood actor Lou Ferrigno once disputed Hogan’s claim of having the largest arms in the world. Moreover, he even said that WCW and WWE legend Scott Steiner had a better physique than Hogan.
The Incredible Hulk rubbished the claim of Hulk Hogan
Lou Ferrigno is a former IFBB bodybuilder who has won a Mr. America title and two consecutive Mr. Universe titles. Apart from this, Ferrigno also played the lead role in the TV series “The Incredible Hulk” from 1978 to 1982.
But his bodybuilding achievements are really outstanding and a man of his expertise will know a good deal about bulked-up physiques.
In 2012, he appeared in a short segment with Hannibal TV. The host Devon Nicholson asked Ferrigno his opinion on Hogan’s claim of having the largest arms in the world. He also showed him photos of Scott Steiner and his old friend Hogan for comparison.

Ferrigno replied, “Hulk Hogan doesn’t have the largest arm in the world. Because in competition my arms were 23 and a half inches when I was competing in 1994, 325 pounds.
Moreover, holding up the Steiner photo, Ferrigno said, “This (Scott Steiner) happened to be a better physique.”
Ferrigno’s endorsement would’ve meant a lot to Steiner, who had one of the largest arms at the peak of his career. The WWE legend had biceps even larger than bodybuilding, great Arnold Schwarzenegger.
It is not clear whether Hulk Hogan actually had biceps measuring 24 inches or not during any point in his career. There has been no official measurement to assert this claim. Although there is a photo of the legendary Freddie Blassie pointing to Hogan’s arms with the number 24. Still, there is some ambiguity in that area.
