“The Almighty” Bobby Lashley is one of the dominating forces in the WWE since his return in 2018. He left WWE in 2008 and wrestled in the Independent circuit for a while. He signed a contract with TNA and was there for some time, winning the company’s world title multiple times. 

Apart from wrestling, Lashley also tried his hand in MMA. He is best known for his time in Bellator for his MMA career. Lashley, who played 17 matches in MMA, made the best career in it. He was called “The Dominator” during his MMA career.

He is one of the WWE superstars apart from Brock Lesnar and Batista to have an MMA career.

How much did Bobby Lashley earn from his MMA career?

Bobby Lashley had 17 matches in MMA with a record of 15-2-0 (Wins-Loss-Draw). He has been with multiple companies like Strikeforce, Titan Fighting Championship, Shark Fights, etc. His major MMA success was with Bellator.

Lashley was under contract with Bellator for six years. He had a per match fee ranging from $40,000 to $50,000 plus the bonuses. He earned the top-tier matches of money at Bellator. They estimated that Lashley, in his 17 matches, earned about $8,50,000 out of his MMA career. His winning bonus was a minimum of $10,000. 

In the year 2021, Bobby Lashley announced he was still in contract with Bellator under a special contract.

Will Bobby Lashley return to MMA?

Bobby Lashley, in the year 2021, with an interview with WrestlingInc announced he was still in contract with Bellator under a special contract. His Bellator contract stated that if WWE calls him back, he can leave the company till he wants to pursue pro-wrestling again.

Lashley has claimed that WWE is his first love, and he always planned to return to WWE. He played his last match in the year 2016 post, in which he went to TNA and later returned to WWE.

He has a job right now with the WWE and is ready to have an MMA match after he leaves pro-wrestling. Moreover, if the company allows him to pursue an MMA career along with pro-wrestling, he may be open to that idea as well.
