NCAA’s Most Outstanding Player, Angel Reese, is grabbing headlines due to her involvement in Dwayne Johnson’s “The Rock’s Warrior” campaign. The 21-year-old is one of seven college athletes to be recruited as a part of Johnson’s annual NIL program for his energy drink, ZOA. 

While the basketball phenom is known for her towering presence, her height pales in comparison with Dwayne Johnson’s in a new picture doing rounds on the internet. It’s worth noting that Reese stands 6 feet, 3 inches tall. But in the picture, she appears to be several inches shorter than Dwayne Johnson. So, is the picture real?

Is Angel Reese really that much shorter than Dwayne Johnson?

Dwayne Johnson’s height is one of the most debated topics on the internet. In WWE, The Rock was billed as standing 6 feet, 4 inches tall. However, some fans online have even accused The Rock of lying about his stature. In fact, one of wrestling’s biggest secrets is the fact that some wrestlers wore shoe lifts to appear bigger. Whether or not The Rock wore shoe lifts, let’s consider the fact that he is 6 feet 4 inches.

In his picture, in which he is seated abreast of Angel Reese, he appears to be way taller than her. It’s worth noting that Dwayne Johnson is only 1 inch taller than Reese. So how does he look that much taller? Well, the picture is not photoshopped, as Johnson is seated on a higher level, making him seem much taller than Angel Reese. 

It would have been interesting to see them stand beside each other to get a clear picture. Nevertheless, we now know that Angel Reese is almost as tall as The Rock.

While Dwayne Johnson continues to shell out his money on the marketing of his energy drink, Angel Reese has made it her goal to revolutionize women’s basketball in the near future. 

Angel Reese reveals how she plans to be the catalyst of change in women’s basketball

Angel Reese made a significant breakthrough in the 2022-23 season, leading the LSU Tigers to a national championship. One of the highlights of her performance was when she taunted Caitlyn Clark with John Cena’s “You can not see me” gesture while leading The Tigers to a victory over the Iowa Hawkeyes.

But, that was the past, as Reese is looking to crush more goals moving forward. Taking to Twitter, Reese stated that she aims to bring more attention to women’s basketball. She tweeted, “My goal is to bring attention to women’s basketball & for it to be more respected.”

By the looks of it, Reese is unquestionably one of the basketball players who can help change the trajectory of women’s basketball. As noted earlier, she had a very impressive breakout last season after being transferred from Maryland to play under Kim Mulkey. 

At this point, the youngster appears to have no limits. It will be interesting to see where she goes from here.
