“LeBron James and a Miniature Golfer”: Dwayne Johnson Roasts His Best Friend on His 43rd Birthday

Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart are two of the best friends in Hollywood. They express their friendship by pulling pranks and joking about each other wherever they are, be it during interviews, during movie promotions, etc.

Recently, Johnson wished his friend Kevin Hart a happy 43rd birthday by roasting him. He shared a part on his Instagram from an interview while promoting their new movie DC League of Super-Pets on Good Morning America, where The Rock roasted Hart using the NBA star LeBron James reference.

Dwayne Johnson, in the Instagram video, said, “It’s like two athletes –right, who are just constantly looking to evolve.” Hart replied, “Not athletes, only one of us are an athlete. Not both.” Johnson said, “It’s like LeBron and a miniature golfer.”

Johnson compared his and Hart’s friendship as NBA star LeBron James, being friends with a golfer of comparatively shorter height. The Jumanji actor also wrote in the caption about other fun moments they have during the interview.

Sometime back on The Graham Norton Show when Kevin Hart was pulling Dwayne Johnson’s leg. They were on the show to promote Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, which was filmed in Hawaii.

Upon learning Johnson saying he was born in San Francisco, Kevin Hart started jesting that the former WWE star told him he was born in Hawaii.

Hart said, “I thought you were born there (Hawaii). You told me. I swear to god you said. When we were there, you gave me a big speech, like this is my land. Now you saying that I was San Fran then I transferred.”

Hart also joked about Johnson giving him a big spiritual speech (not real) of his mother holding him over a cliff in Hawaii where The Rock was born.

This shows the most special bond between the two. Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart often pull each other’s legs and this was an example of the same. It is a true healthy friendship between the two actors which is adored by their fans too.
