It looks like Kevin Durant, one of the NBA’s star players, might part ways with the Brooklyn Nets soon. KD shocked everyone by recently requesting a trade away from the Brooklyn Nets. Ever since this news came out in public, several individuals reacted to it on social media. And now, the AEW president has also joined in this conversation.
AEW President Tony Khan talked about Kevin Durant while responding to a tweet from Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful. In his tweet, Sean Ross Sapp noted, “Blackpool Combat Club is not putting together a trade package for Kevin Durant, I’m told.”

AEW has brought in stars from other sports in the past. For example, NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal had competed in a match in AEW. So, even if Durant ever appear in AEW, he would not be the first basketball star to appear in All Elite Wrestling.

AEW president Tony Khan recently added another former WWE star to the Blackpool Combat Club
A few months ago, on AEW Revolution 2022, Bryan Danielson competed in a match against Jon Moxley. Following the fight, former WWE star William Regal made his surprise AEW debut. Regal then formed the Blackpool Combat Club by uniting Moxley and Danielson. He then invited Wheeler Yuta to join him, Moxley, and Danielson as a member of the BCC.
But Jon Moxley and Bryan Danielson are not the only two former WWE stars who are presently members of the Blackpool Combat Club. Claudio Castagnoli, previously known as Cesaro in WWE, joined the Blackpool Combat Club recently.
