“Muhammad Ali Is a Real Legend”: Triple H Gets Buried for His ‘Disrespectful’ Comparison Between Roman Reigns, Michael Jordan and Muhammad Ali

On August 30, 2020, Roman Reigns defeated Bray ‘The Fiend’ Wyatt and Braun Strowman in a No Holds Barred Triple Threat match to win the Universal Championship at Payback. Two years later, on April 3, he defeated Brock Lesnar to win the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 38 and became the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.

He has held the titles for 1000+ days, which is a commendable feat. To celebrate this milestone, WWE held a celebration night on SmackDown this week. Triple H gave one hell of an introduction before welcoming ‘The Tribal Chief’ to the ring. He compared Reigns to Muhammad Ali and Michael Jordan, which the fans didn’t like.

Roman Reigns has changed the face of WWE, says Triple H

The 06/02 edition of Friday Night SmackDown saw ‘Hunter’ heaping praise on The Undisputed Champ for his historic title run in the company. He complimented how Reigns’ dominance has changed the face of WWE. He also mentioned that generation after generation will take about his historic title reign.

While singing the praises, he compared him to other prominent names in the sports industry. He stated Reigns holds the same esteem position in WWE as Ali and Jordan do in boxing and basketball. Unfortunately, some netizens didn’t appreciate ‘HHH’ making this comparison.

The WWE Universe slams Triple H and Reigns
