A long-life fan of pro wrestling, Bad Bunny started his WWE journey in 2021 by making appearances in the promotion’s prestige shows. The same year, he teamed with Damian Priest to take on the team of The Miz and John Morrison at WrestleMania 37. He and his partner won the tag team match.
Fast forward to 2023, he fought his first singles match at WWE Backlash this Saturday. He defeated his former friend, Priest, in the match. Following his victory, Triple H congratulated him like a proud father.
Bad Bunny makes Triple H proud

The Puerto Rican crowd on Saturday witnessed their hometown boy defeat The Judgment Day member in a San Juan Street Fight match at WWE Backlash. WWE via Instagram shared a video in which fans can see Hunter congratulating Bunny after his incredible victory.
He hugs him and even checks if he’s got any injuries from the match. Fans can clearly see how proud HHH is of his performance. The International Sensation displayed some of his best in-ring skills during the Saturday night event, which left the WWE Head of Creative very much impressed with him.
The bout was an interesting one and saw both wrestlers displaying their best performance all around the arena. The closing moments of the match recorded Finn Balor and Dominik Mysterio trying to turn the table in their stablemates’ favor.

At WrestleMania 39 Night 1, the 29-year-old star was present at ringside with the Spanish announce team during the match between The Master of 619 and his son. During a point in the match, when the son tried to hit his father with a steel chain, he stepped up and snatched the weapon from him.
On RAW after WrestleMania, he was present in the front-row audience seat. A segment saw The Young Mysterio engage in a brief brawl with him. He took down Dom-Dom but couldn’t escape the clutches of Priest, who put him through the announce table.
