After Bianca Belair defeated Iyo Sky at Backlash 2023, fans were left to witness another amazing match. The second match of the night saw Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins take on Omos in one of the most unexpected matches of the night.
Several fans were wary about this match between Rollins and the giant, many were vocally critical of Omos’ wrestling abilities. Fortunately, Rollins was able to prove everyone’s opinion wrong and produce a stellar match against Omos.

WWE fans in Puerto Rico and all over the world witnessed one of the best matches of the night as Rollins defeated Omos using a modified version of his stomp. Despite defeating Omos, The Visionary might have done Omos a favor. After a couple of stomps and even a frog splash. ‘The Beast Slayer’ was unable to slay the giant after he used the top rope to deliver a stomp.
Rollins is known for his spectacular in-ring abilities. However, fans were impressed with Omos’ improvement in the ring, and how he was able to keep with Rollins in the ring. Twitter came together to praise both Rollins and Omos for producing one of the best matches of the night.

Omos’ in-ring work was getting stale and fans were often vocal about his lack of in-ring improvement. WWE fans would often criticize Omos for his wrestling abilities.
However, after tonight every one of them will have a different opinion. Rollins is known for producing good matches with almost anyone, and he did the same tonight. Even after losing, the 7ft giant might owe Rollins big time.
