The World’s Strongest Man Mark Henry is one of the best wrestlers WWE ever had. He did multiple gimmicks in WWE before ending up becoming the World’s Strongest Man and opening his Hall of Pain in 2011. His run in 2011-2012 was by far the best and dominant run ever in the company.

Mark Henry is a two-time world champion in WWE and has multiple big moments in the company. He was also a decorated power lifter during his time in WWE. Henry has also represented the USA in Summer Olympics 1996. Post which he signed a 10-year deal with WWE.

Mark Henry has two sons and his oldest son is in amateur wrestling. Recently, Henry’s son Jacob Henry posted on his Twitter account after his victory at District Level.

He said – “I have my thoughts together. I want to say thank you to God, my family, my coaches, and Cav Nation for the support. Winning the district championship has been my goal for two years and it’s here. And now it’s here. I am the 6A 285 District Champ. Undesirable to Undeniable.-Cody Rhodes”

Jacob Henry thanked everyone in his tweet. He was training really hard for two years to win this tournament and finally got the victory, making his father proud.

Mark Henry also shared a video of his sons winning moments in the match. In his tweet he said, “Introducing the new district champion. Jacob Todd Henry”

Mark Henry would be a proud father right now, as amateur wrestling is the first step to entering the pro-wrestling world. It seems Jacob would follow in his father’s footsteps and enter pro-wrestling.

Mark Henry announced his retirement in 2017 and took a backstage role in WWE. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2018 by his friend Big Show. He later appeared for one match as a participant in Greatest Royal Rumble.

Henry was last seen in WWE on RAW Legends night in 2021. His WWE contract expired and later, in May 2021, he signed with AEW as a commentator for their second show, AEW Rampage.

There are talks of Mark Henry returning to wrestling, but is not confirmed by himself. He is happy right now after a long decorated career. Although it would be nice to see him wrestling one last time again.
