After taking a jab at AEW, Retribution member and possible leader, T-Bar, answered a burning question. Like the rest of the wrestling world, AEW’s Chris Jericho was equally confused.

T-Bar (previously known as Dominik Dijakovic) revealed why WWE signed the chaotic group. As per him, WWE found it cheaper to sign the faction instead of letting them injure the company’s security guards each week. However, the group still aims to destroy WWE.

Since their “debut,” Retribution has caused nothing but chaos. They attacked everyone on their path, be it security, backstage personnel, or main roster Superstars.

In the last episode of Raw, Retribution revealed why WWE offered them contracts and took them in. Although it was done to stop the destruction, Mia Yim and T-Bar reiterated their commitment to WWE’s demise.

As of now, there are five confirmed members of Retribution – Mia Yim (Reckoning), Mercedes Martinez (Retaliation), Dominik Dijakovic (T-BAR), Dio Maddin (Mace), and Shane Thorne (Slapjack). All the “post-apocalyptic misfit group” members are NXT alumni.

With Chris Jericho’s comment on the situation, we can expect a jab at Retribution on the next AEW Dynamite. As for WWE, we truly hope Vince McMahon and the creative team does not make a mess out of the group’s storylines.
