The AEW All In PPV event is done, dusted, and ready for the history books. It sets itself apart from all the other PPV events for the sheer mass, hype, and excitement it created, from shattering records to creating new storylines. Moreover, according to Tony Khan, second chances are all about this kind of commercial success.
During the post-event talk with the media, Khan shed much light on the event’s front and back happenings. Furthermore, he pointed fingers at some who must be blamed, including AEW World Champion, Maxwell Jacob Friedman.

After the record-breaking show at Wembley Stadium, Khan, the CEO of AEW, sat down for the post-show media scrum. He talked about getting second chances and how this show was a second chance for him and AEW. Furthermore, he touched upon the management issues plaguing the show for the past few months.
Talking to the media, he discussed the idea of this being a second chance for him and AEW. He began by talking about the last time the company experienced such success. The night he talked about was during their LA debut at the Forum last year. Khan said things were going great for the company and its wrestlers.
He talked about how wrestlers like Bryan Danielson, CM Punk, and Adam Cole were all part of the roster and doing well. However, things went sideways just a week later, with multiple wrestlers injured and MJF walking off the show. Khan commented on how he was scared for Cole’s injury. Returning to the present year, he talked about how things were bad a few months back, with issues of management plaguing the company.

“You don’t get a lot of second chances,” he said. This was after he explained how AEW’s All In was the biggest success they’ve had. According to Khan, this made them red hot once again as they were. He believed the heights the company reached last year could not be achieved again, but this night at the Wembley Stadium in London proved him wrong.
The MJF debacle and the new rise of AEW
MJF and Khan have had their differences. There’ve been many backstage rumors that the two never see eye-to-eye. With MJF reaching new heights in AEW, Khan wants to keep him around. However, MJF’s deal is expiring in 2024, and has frequently teased leaving the promotion the day it does. With Khan investing heavily in him as the main attraction of the company, you’d like to think he’d keep the ‘Devil’ around.

The two were also part of the media session, where all heat between them looked to have subsided. With All In breaking new records, new possibilities seem just over the horizon.
