Maxwell Jacob Friedman, aka MJF, has proven his worth as a wrestling superstar in AEW. The Long Island native has been playing a heel character and has turned some heads in the past when he dissed his own mother. Eventually, these heel tactics paid off as WWE expressed an interest in signing him.

However, his current storyline with former WWE champion, CM Punk, has put him on notice in the eyes of WWE. The biggest promotion in the sports entertainment business is keen on signing MJF once his contract expires.

According to the latest reports, WWE alongside their TV partners, are willing to sign the young talent. However, things got more interesting when MJF took to Twitter recently.

Currently, the Salt of the Earth is feuding with CM Punk, and both men decimated each other in heated verbal altercations in previous weeks.

MJF created history when he became the only three-time Dynamite Diamond Ring winner when he defeated Dante on this week’s edition of AEW Dynamite: Winter is coming.

MJF keeps the fans on the edge of their seat, teasing them to sign with WWE

According to Andrew Zarian over at the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, people within FOX and USA Network have reached out to Zarian to discuss the status of ‘Salt of the Earth’. It’s said how MJF’s ongoing rivalry with CM Punk has spiked a new level of interest in him from non-wrestling fans at both networks.

One individual who has been a relatable source to Zarian of the years said, “I actually stopped what I was doing and listened to him. I don’t think I have done that with pro wrestling in a long time.”

However, MJF took to Twitter and subtly noted that AEW and WWE will have a bidding war in 2024. The year here suggests the time when his contract will be up with AEW.

Now, Vince McMahon would love to have someone like the Salt of the Earth on the company’s roster. The man’s every action oozes his heel personality and the fans just hate him.
