Current NXT Champion Finn Balor has not forgotten his roots from NJPW. ‘The Prince’ recently sent a message to his former Bullet Club stablemates on Twitter.

Balor, alongside Tama Tonga and Bad Luck Fale, is one of the original leaders and founders of Bullet Club. He left the promotion in 2014.

After coming to WWE, Balor became the inaugural Universal Champion, but he faded into the shadows because of various injuries.

Recently, Balor saw a resurgence in his WWE career after he went back to NXT. He will now defend his championship against Pete Dunne at the upcoming NXT TakeOver. In the latest episode of NXT, Royal Rumble 2021 winner Edge appeared and teased a match with him at WrestleMania.

In this week’s AEW ‘Beach Break’ edition, Bullet Club member Kenta made his AEW debut. Both AEW and WWE have some prominent Bullet Club members in their current itinerary.

Following AEW and NXT, Balor tagged a host of Bullet Club members from the present faction, including Tama Tonga, Bad Luck Fale, and Jay White on Twitter.

From the ‘rival’ promotion, Balor tagged the AEW World Champion Kenny Omega, Adam ‘Hangman’ Page, AEW Tag Team Champions Young Bucks, Impact Tag Team Champions Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows aka the Good Brothers.

WWE is usually very strict about not acknowledging its rivals unless necessary. This shout-out/acknowledgment from a reigning champion in WWE is shocking.

Finn Balor overlooked Adam Cole in his latest tweet on Bullet Club

Interestingly, Balor tagged fellow WWE superstar AJ Styles but overlooked Adam Cole. Styles and Cole were both prominent members of the faction. Styles was the leader right after Balor’s departure.

Due to the ‘ignorance’ of his fellow NXT colleague, Adam Cole replied under Balor’s tweet with a picture of Cole wearing a Bullet Club t-shirt holding the NXT North American Championship.

Cole is the leader of the Undisputed Era in NXT. The name is derived from the ‘undisputed domination’ of its members on NXT. Cole, Bobby Fish, Kyle O’Reilly, and Roderick Strong, were the first stable to hold all the male titles on NXT.
