The bad blood between WWE legend Eric Bischoff and AEW President, Tony Khan is increasing with every passing day. However, it looks like AEW superstar, CM Punk is also on WCW former Senior Vice President’s radar. It all started when Tony Khan posted several tweets referring that if the billionaire had 1% of the knowledge he had about wrestling, then WCW would still exist.
However, this time Bischoff targeted the former WWE Champion, CM Punk where he said even though Punk came back to wrestling after seven long years, nothing much has happened in AEW since then. On the contrary, the ratings of AEW are nowhere near what it was before Punk.

It looks like Punk’s recent comments rubbed the former WCW Vice President the wrong way, Bischoff absolutely destroyed Punk’s journey in AEW claiming he’s not achieved enough.
“Punk was the guy that came out and his first comments were ‘The addition of this talent was more significant than Scott Hall and Kevin Nash,’ constantly making references to WCW because they want to be the company that WCW was back in the mid-90s.”

“There’s these constant references to WCW. When Scott Hall and Kevin Nash came in, we took off. Punk, you came in and you sh*t the bed, in terms of ratings. It ain’t there and there’s nothing in reality to suggest otherwise. You just need to be careful about what you say until you’re delivering.” Eric said on the podcast. [h/t: WrestlingInc]

Honestly, Bischoff seems to have clearly analyzed the situation AEW is in and especially CM Punk. Ever since his debut, Punk is not used in storylines, instead, he just picks his opponents to wrestle.
