The WWE has seen many entertainers over the years. All of them with their unique strengths and weaknesses. But, only some wrestlers made it as big as Dwayne Johnson, in recent memory. Fans of WWE might know him better as ‘The Rock’. The fans can’t help but love him for his charisma, style, and sense of humor, paired with brute strength to dispatch anyone who stands in front of him. Recently, Chris Jericho of All Elite Wrestling spotted a young star that he’s very excited about. Apparently, this upcoming talent exudes the same energy that ‘The Brahma Bull’ is known and loved for.

In the podcast, the former professional wrestler spoke about Starks being a generational talent and drew comparisons with one of the biggest names in WWE, Dwayne Johnson.
He said, “When you first stand in the ring with The Rock, you talk about a generational talent, that’s a different level. The thing with Ricky is, I’ve seen glimpses of that, which is great. He’s still harnessing and the idea for this program was to continue to build.”
Therefore, from what he’s seen, Jericho is confident that Starks can earn himself a huge following, just like Johnson.
Ricky Starks knows how to work the audience
The 25-year-old wrestler is killing it in the promos. Normally, young wrestlers struggle to interact with the audience or feel intimidated by the crowd. But, Starks is a natural. Moreover, Jericho said he’s overtaking his contemporaries, Dany Garcia and Sammy Guevara in that aspect.
In the same podcast, Jericho added, “A lot of the younger guys, they’ll talk with deep breathing because they are afraid to be like, ‘I want to say this. Pause. Let the crowd react.’ He really had some great nuances with that.” and praised the young prospect.
