The worst nightmare of the wrestling industry just hit a 42-year-old wrestling superstar. AEW ‘s Bryan Danielson fractured his arm. The mishap took place during the match agains NPJW legend Kazuchika Okada during AEW Forbidden Door on Sunday. After putting on a classic showdown, Danielson forced Okada to tap out to his submission hold. But he submitted to a grave injury leaving his status for the upcoming AEW All In 2023 in serious jeopardy.

At the post-show media scrum, Danielson revealed that he injured his forearm during the bout. The initial estimated time for recovery seemed to be six weeks to eight weeks. But now, wife Brie Bella‘s latest update is enough to make fans more unsure of the star’s predicted return time.

Forbidden Door was conceived last year to dig the best of All Elite Wrestling against the best of NPJW. Danielson took up the challenge by calling out The Rainmaker to a first-ever match at the Forbidden Door. The American Dragon prevailed till the end, backing up his claim of being the best wrestler in the world. That said, when he will prove himself in the ring again is a fact up in the air for now.

As long as we forwarded with six to eight weeks of approximate absence time, there was still a chance for Bryan to show up at AEW All-In on August 27. But after his wife, ex-WWE star Brie Bella, shared a concerning message through Instagram stating that the injury was more serious than first thought, it seems a far-fetched idea.

Showing off the X-Ray copy of the cracked arm, one-half of The Bella Twins wrote, ”Not sure to be proud of chastise him for wrestling 10 more minutes with this break!! Definitely worse than we thought.”

Now, the WWE world has to wait for a while to catch him back in action. But what are the events he will possibly miss out on?

What are the upcoming events that Danielson won’t be a part of?

Daniel Bryan was a five-time world champion in WWE, whereas he has yet to win a title in Tony Khan’s promotion. But picking up an important win over Okada this week, he spoke of his potential to hold an AEW or IGPW world title opportunity in the near future. That said, his journey to rise to the top got hindered for some time by being sidelined in a series of upcoming crucial events.

Apart from the very legit possibility of him missing All In, AEW’s biggest show to date, he might also miss AEW All Out 2023, which will go live one week after All In from the United Center in Chicago. Needless to mention, the weekly shows are too on the missing events list.

It’s pretty sad for fans to accept that he’s been banged up for a while now. However, adequate time off for healing will surely do him good, especially with nurse Brie to the rescue.
