According to sources, ever since the secret signing with WWE, Page kept himself under the cover by not being present backstage or at any rehearsal, only to build hype for whatever happened during the last few minutes of the show tonight.

Coming out to be the mastermind behind a series of assaults, Page laid into Trick Williams and hoisted the NXT title in the air to a surreal ending. The former Alpha 1 promoter continued to pump his actions up on social media even after the show was over. He took to his Twitter to troll Williams with his own catchphrase.

”I guess I whooped that Trick.”, the 34-year-old noted.
