AEW Revolution is stacking up to be an explosive PPV for Tony Khan. With several titles on the line and Sting’s final match on display, fans were in for a thrill ride. However, something that no one was expecting has happened. After the International Championship Match with Orange Cassidy and Roderick Strong, Kyle O’Reilly made his return. This would be his return to AEW after over a year, which no one had expected to play out. Moreover, it wasn’t the return or what took place in the ring that got fans talking; it was what was on his arm.
Kyle O’Reilly returns with his diabetes monitor on display
Kyle O’Reilly was last seen in AEW during the 2022 AEW×NJPW: Forbidden Door PPV. He faced Jon Moxley for the interim AEW World Heavyweight Championship. After losing the match, he suffered an injury setback and hasn’t been seen since on AEW programming. This return is after not being seen for over a year. When Strong won the match and the title, O’Reilly entered the ring. This is where fans first noticed the device on his arm. While exiting the ring, fans got a better look at it. This didn’t stop fans from asking online what it was.

Getting into the ring, O’Rilley hugged the new champ and one of his old friends. However, when Strong offered him a shirt representing the Undisputed Kingdom, O’Reilly rejected it. He did whisper something into Strong’s ears before leaving. This is where people saw the device even better.
O’Reilly has type 1 diabetes, and the machine on his arm is a monitor. This is something that fans did not know about. During his run before his injury, he kept it covered with an armband. After being absent for so long, fans naturally wondered what the device was and whether it was related to his health.
With his return, it is clear that Tony Khan believes he is ready to compete. Nevertheless, the wrestling community had several questions dealing with the aftermath of the return and they got some of the answers they sought, too.

Other users had a different explanation pertaining to the device.
Unfortunately, Kyle O’Reilly is still recovering from his spinal fusion and C5 palsy. A rare condition following the surgery and has lost all capabilities to use his right arm. He has to relearn even the simplest of tasks he used to do with his right arm.
