AEW sensation Britt Baker has currently been the tide-turner of Khan’s business. The obvious reason? Her recently slated TBS Championship match against the headline maker Mercedes Mone at All In 2024 is rapidly approaching. Coming afresh from a suspension over her backstage brawl with MJF, the DMD quickly gained momentum in style appearing at tonight’s Dynamite. In an intriguing segment, the 33-year-old signed a contract with the Boss for their Wembley combat on Sunday night. But do you know where she developed her strong roots to fight off even the most evil opponents? Well, a brief yet significant WWE run is the safe answer.

Brit Baker had a memorable time in the Stamford-based company around 2016. Her skirmish with Nia Jax came out as one of the classiest yet controversial matches on Raw. Jax stormed through the main roster after honing her craft well in the developmental brand for a couple of years in the middle of 2016 and first came across Baker.

In a winning effort, The Irresistible Force let the world know that she means only business. However, from that point on (being brutally beaten by an industry senior), Baker had an outright transformation. The years of hard work and the zest to improve rightfully earned her the status she’s currently enjoying at AEW.

During an interview, when Jax was asked about her match against the AEW star, she said the same. The alpha female of the red brand unhesitatingly noted how Baker come a long way in her professional sphere and how she didn’t take that matter to her ego but rather worked on herself, which is visible in her current position.

A jam-packed episode of AEW Dynamite hit the Utilita Arena in Cardiff, Wales. The Go Home episode before All In quite unsurprisingly produced a lot of interesting matches and segments, including the blockbuster contract signing between Mercedes Mone and Britt Baker. Before penning the deal, the two rivals engaged in a heated war of words which eventually culminated in Baker dragging up four Horsewomen of WWE (Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks, Bayley).

In an attempt to rub her opponent, the former Sasha Banks, Baker noted that Mone alluded to becoming one of the four needle mover women in WWE, where she was always irreplaceable and unique. Shortly after, the Doctor shifted her attention to Mone’s new ally, Kamille as she shoved her head with the microphone earlier in the night. Baker’s striking pose with the championship title wrote off the segment on a dreamy note.

It will be interesting to see if Baker will ever dip her feet in WWE in the future as per the rumor card or not. What’s your take on Britt Baker’s WWE past? Let us know in the comments.
