“Tucked Me Into Bed”: John Cena Took Drinking to Insane Heights as AEW Star Recalls Hazy Nights With the 13X WWE Champion

It’s safe to say that the John Cena vs. Chris Jericho feud is one of many WWE rivalries that will live on in fans’ memories for a very long time. Both of them have participated in a number of matches throughout the Ruthless Aggression era, and they had great chemistry together. However, Y2J recalled the day when he had a terrible time with The Champ due to the wild drinking night.

Y2J has other interests than professional wrestling, including telling stories about what goes on behind the scenes. He has done this by writing books and hosting podcasts, among other things. Similarly, in his third book, ‘The Best in the World: At What I Have No Idea’, he wrote about the night he and Cena went out drinking and that turned into one of the wildest nights for him.

In his book, AEW Superstar said that when he performed in Alaska a few years ago, Cena handed him his toughest loss. But compared to what he endured following the show, the defeat was nothing. After the show, Y2J and Cena would frequently enjoy a few cocktails together as a celebration drink. However, he claimed that anytime he and Cena have gone off in a drinking match, he typically loses.

John Cena scared Chris Jericho after drinking

In his book, he noted that he and Cena were looking for a bar to remain warm since it was chilly in Alaska. When they arrived, they saw that there were many admirers were present, and, interestingly, Cena even saved one marriage with his marital advice. Moreover, after consuming many other cocktails, they eventually returned to the room. Later, he almost screamed out when he woke up.

He stated, “When we got upstairs, I opened the door, and that’s the last thing I remembered until I woke up fully clothed under the covers of my bed a few hours later. I had no idea where I was and almost screamed when I saw a dark figure sitting in the corner of the room.”

“As my bloodshot eyes adjusted to the light, I realized the dark figure was John Cena, still drinking and scrolling through my iPod. A mystery figure sitting in the room would undoubtedly scare everyone. It seems the former WWE world champions had quite a night in Alaska, which can evoke nostalgia in them even for years to come.
