Wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer reported in this context that the Louisiana native might choose WWE, (especially the developmental brand) for the next phase of his career. Starks also had a WWE past as an enhancement talent, so becoming an enormous star under the same banner might prove enticing for him.

Also, a popular Twitch personality known as Tectone apparently spilled the beans on the fact that the AEW star is already signed to WWE. He was talking to someone else in the know, and admitted “yeah there is this guy Ricky Starks who live here, he was in AEW but now he is signed to WWE.” However, now he took a reverse turn and claimed he doesn’t know much about Starks and his affiliation with WWE.
