Yes, I have creative control, but I work with Tony Khan very closely; so it’s a great combo.”

There are many angles that the series is exploring regarding how WWE’s former competitor drowned despite having a good head start. One reason for this downfall, which a wrestling legend pointed out a couple of years ago, was the fact that the employers had given creative control to the employees. Fans see the same thing happening in AEW.

Mercedes Mone’s statement did not make a lot of fans happy, but this one in particular appears to be doubting her creative skills greatly. The confession clarifies that the user who wrote the comment was glad that they didn’t have to watch the promotion again.

Here’s a wrestling fan who pointed out the parallel that is getting drawn between WCW and AEW. Although Tony Khan probably hasn’t given every wrestler the same amount of creative control, the interview was enough for fans to be repulsed by this decision.
