After the separation from her ex Rusev aka AEW’s Miro back in 2023, CJ Perry appeared alongside the current World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest throughout the WrestleMania weekend. Social media immediately suggested that the two were dating.
After winning the world title, Priest, his brother Alex, the aforementioned CJ Perry along a few others met in a pub in Philadelphia to celebrate, with several present confirming how the member of Judgment Day and the former Lana left together, fueling the rumors about them. However, this would not be the first time that, in the world of wrestling, there have been betrayals against colleagues although, in this case, between wrestlers from different federations. But it seems like fans surely are not a big fan of this pair.
Fans showcase their wrath toward the rumored couple
Lana and Miro were one of the most iconic couples in professional wrestling in recent years. Miroslav “Miro” Barnyashev, known as Rusev in the WWE, is a Bulgarian fighter who stood out for his strength and aggressiveness in the ring. Lana, played by CJ Perry, was his manager in WWE and played a glamorous and haughty woman who often intervened in Rusev’s matches to help him win.
People could sense their chemistry and were heartbroken to see them split. And some of that heartbreak poured into the comments of the aforementioned post. With some questioning Lana, as if the two were actually dating and if she actually traded Miro for Damien Priest.

The two got back together on screen in AEW during the last few months. But their story did not quite come together on television just as it did not in real life.
