Cody Rhodes began his reign as WWE Undisputed Champion by defending the title at Backlash. However, the champion cannot rest just yet as the King and Queen of the Ring is set to go down in just two weeks, with his hard-earned title on the line again. And that too against precisely another superstar who already has a title.

The next edition of SmackDown is surely going to be a special one. Why? Because it’s going to be at the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida. And every pro wrestling fan knows the fact that Jacksonville happens to be the home of All Elite Wrestling. The promotion Cody Rhodes helped set up after he quit the WWE in 2016.

And according to a renowned wrestling insider, Logan Paul, who’s going to sign the contract with Rhodes for the PLE main event, is going to take shots at the AEW. He might even mention Rhodes’ history with the company and that he left the WWE for it.

In the latest edition of her podcast, Denise Salcedo revealed, “They’re doing the contract signing next week with Logan, and Logan and Cody in Jacksonville. Oh my God all of the stars are aligning. I just know there’s going to be some some shots in there all right. I’m gonna be ready for it, be ready.”

Though in the description of the preview published by WWE on its website, it has not been specified if one title will be at stake or both. During the broadcast of the show, Corey Graves did mention that the match was for the Undisputed WWE Championship. However, in the promo, there has been open talk about the possibility of both being double champions. Additionally, Rhodes posted a tweet that read, “2 belts,” implying that the fight will be for both championships. Yet the only thing we know for sure is that the match is going to be a contender for five-star ratings. After all, Logan Paul is a ‘unique’ wrestler as per a WWE legend.

The Phenom praises Logan Paul

Since he arrived in WWE, Logan Paul has established himself as one of the company’s top superstars, and that too despite coming from the entertainment world, and without having spent a lot of time in this industry. A major share of this success truly goes to his commitment and charisma. Qualities that have managed to connect with fans. Thus allowing him to earn his spot in the company.

During the Six Feet Under podcast, The Undertaker praised Paul and highlighted what according to him is the main quality of the US Champion. Taker mentioned that Logan stands out for feeling different from the rest of the superstars. This is attributed to his background outside of the industry. Another reason was his distinct development compared to traditional wrestlers. And the decision of the WWE to give Paul the US title and defend it multiple times proves their trust in the Maverick.
