A few weeks ago, the two biggest wrestling promotions of the current time, WWE and AEW had locked their horns a few weeks ago. On October 9th, both promotions had their weekly shows WWE NXT and AEW Dynamite scheduled on the same day and at nearly the same broadcasting time. However, weeks after that, as well as after the Friday Night War, both Tony Khan and Triple H are set to face once again on November 25.
Tony Khan and Triple H will lock horns once again
It has been reported by Sean Ross Sapp that AEW has plans for the coming Saturday. This coming Saturday, WWE will be organizing their upcoming Premium Live Event, Survivor Series in Chicago, Illinois. To tackle the situation, Tony Khan decided to counter the buzz by announcing a major episode of AEW Collision and Rampage being broadcast on November 25. According to Sapp, the show will be broadcast in the same three-hour block as that of Survivor Series.

The latest WWE PLE has been a part of the conversation due to the news of Randy Orton returning. It might be that Khan wants to tackle the buzz and garner higher ratings for AEW. However, Khan suffered a massive loss last week as SmackDown’s ratings were eight times higher as compared to both Collison and Dynamite combined.
However, Khan still has a tough competition to deal with as a lot might happen on the Survivor Series. Randy Orton will be returning for the Men’s WarGames match. Rhea Ripley and Zoey Stark will clash for the Women’s World Championship title, and many more matches are on the slate.
However, it looks like the President of AEW has been planning something for this very day. And the hint related to this tease might have been dropped on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
Tony Khan’s contingency plan
Apart from what’s next for CM Punk, fans have been discussing who is the Devil Mask lurking on the sets of AEW. The Devil Mask has been doing certain shenanigans and the blame for all of it has been put on MJF. There has been quite a buzz about this new and fresh whodunnit-style storyline. While fans have their own theories, there are two possible names who might be hiding behind the mask. One might be Jack Perry. Perry who was involved in a backstage altercation with CM Punk was suspended indefinitely due to his actions. It could be a way for Khan to bring Perry back after his suspension giving birth to a new feud.

However, there is another possibility as well. On the 11/22 episode of AEW Dynamite, the EVPs of AEW Young Bucks were not present. As there could be plenty of reasons behind it, one reason is more baffling than any other. The other face that can be behind the mask might be CM Punk. Punk has been involved in some feud with the Young Bucks and the duo’s absence might hint that Punk was there to meet Khan ahead of the big reveal. Do you think Khan has a better contingency plan to tackle Survivor Series?
