Mercedes Moné in the Bloodline—Is this the most exciting WWE rumor you've heard in years?

The Bloodline has lately been showcasing a lot of volatility in recruiting and rejecting members to shape a whole new form. Under Solo Sikoa’s forced stewardship, the faction let go of Jimmy Uso and the incredible pillar of the family, the Wise Man, after a brutal beatdown. While Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu filled up the void left behind by the old guard, they might not be enough.

The speculations were rife to add more faces to the team, specifically a female one. After Nia Jax recently addressed a couple of names as potential Bloodline members including herself, former six-time world champion Mercedes Mone seems to be the next one to watch out for.

Despite being unable to pull a lot of crowds with her high-flying debut at Big Business, The CEO has quickly found her ground in Khan’s promotion with consistent effort. But given how the AEW head honcho garnered brickbats about Mone’s lackluster booking, the idea of a WWE return doesn’t seem far-fetched.

Also, Mone’s moot comment on her potential WWE arrival on the condition of a lucrative paycheck attracted tremendous heat. However, it significantly added to the odds of her chance of reverting to the old wrestling home.

With The Bloodline occupying the center stage of the wrestling world and seemingly seeking out new members, the addition of Mercedes Mone sounds alluring. Feeding to this narrative, Tonga Loa made a cryptic social media gesture toward the former IGPW Women’s champion. Mone posted a jaw-dropping mirror photo on his IG feed which got a thumbs up from the Bloodline 2.0 poster boy Tonga Loa.

WWE legend calls Mercedes Mone’s baby face run a bad dream

Mercedes Mone is currently gearing up to face off against Britt Baker for All-In after she shockingly confronted her at San Diego Comic-Con. After weeks of intense build-up, we will get to see the DMD vs CEO in London next month. While retaining her TBS Champion title in the high-stake bout will add some value to Mone’s current stint, as per WCW legend Eric Bischoff’s discretion, she was terrible in her earlier babyface run.

Mone joined AEW as a face back in March. She grabbed the TBS Championship at the AEW *NJPW Forbidden Door PPV, knocking down Stephanie Vaquer in a Winner Takes All match. Then her character took a heel transition suddenly. Addressing that change, Bischoff deems it as a wonderful decision while dubbing her erstwhile run a bad dream. Now, it will be interesting to see whether Mone considers merging her heel energy with that of The Bloodline’s in WWE.

While it’s quite unrealistic to foresee that as Mone is AEW-bound by a multi-year deal, we can never say never in pro wrestling. What’s your take on Mone getting acknowledged by Tonga Loa on Instagram? Let us know in the comments.
