After a lot of speculation and rumors swirling over the lore, WWE Hall of Famer Edge is finally all-elite now. To fan’s dismay, The Rated R superstar wrapped up his more than two decades-long WWE stint, picking an impressive win over Sheamus, on the August 18th edition of WWE SmackDown in Toronto. Ever since then, the rumors about his next move have been rife. Fans were left stunned when Adam Copeland appeared at Sunday’s WrestleDream in Seattle, Washington, following Christian Cage’s successful TNT title defense over Darby Allin in a two-of-three fall match last night.

Legitimatizing his decision, the Ultimate Oppertunist wrote a couple of long tweets.

He mentioned that he cherishes his days with WWE tenure to his core. What the company did for him both personally and professionally will remain priceless but at the same time, he feels he’s done with WWE for good.

‘Sometimes relationships just grow apart and I feel the WWE and I have just outgrown each other. I wanted to do more. They didn’t have much more for me to do. Simple as that. And that’s ok. I’ll still be watching and still be supporting all of my friends there.’‘, the 49-year-old wrote.

On the flip side, despite owning a secondary company according to Triple H, Khan was successful in triggering Edge’s thirst for some new set of challenges in his career and last night’s signing bore the fruit of it.
