The time Sting came to Randy Orton’s aid
Randy Orton and Seth Rollins were feuding heading into WrestleMania 31. Both men were exchanging words on Raw two weeks before WrestleMania 31. Rollins brought out The Authority, and they marched to the ring.
Orton stood his ground in the ring with a steel chair in hand as The Authority surrounded the ring. The lights went out to a ‘Crow’ sound just as The Authority was about to enter.
The lights came back on and ‘The Icon’ Sting was standing in the ring with his trademark black baseball bat in hand. Sting went right after Kane and J&J Security with his bat while Orton took out Rollins and the Big Show. The crowd erupted, and Sting threw his jacket right at Triple H standing at ringside.
‘The Icon’ wasn’t done there as he immediately hit a Stinger Splash on J&J Security. ‘The Franchise’ sent a message to Triple H by hitting a vicious Scorpion Death Drop on Jamie Noble.
Now that Sting had shown what he was capable of, Orton didn’t want to stay back. Orton sealed the deal with an RKO to Joey Mercury, leaving Triple H, Seth Rollins, and the rest of The Authority fuming.
