CM Punk has been a hot topic point in WWE for the last couple of days and with time, he only continues to be more and more relevant in the wrestling news flash. From being highly speculated to get his foot back at WWE to finally being a regular act in his old wrestling home, Punk holds the spotlight at himself tight. Regardless of their positive or negative standpoint regarding the former world champion, the wrestling business moguls can’t help assessing the historical WWE return in different lights. That said, another controversial figure in the room, Punk’s on-screen foe, MJF, was yet to drop his take on the former’s WWE landing until now.
The Salt of Earth has finally reacted to CM Punk’s phenomenal homecoming in a rather positive demeanor.

A seemingly AEW drawback culminated in a huge advantage for the Second City Saint within a month. After Tony Khan cut him off from the AEW roster over a petty All-in tussle with Jack Perry, Punk turned the table by being an even bigger deal with every passing day in WWE.
And his former rival couldn’t see anything wrong with it. MJF thinks what Punk did is fair in business. Especially given that he’s happier than before, the decision was worth taking.
While speaking on the SI Media with Jimmy Traina, the AEW heel noted, ”I was happy for him. Listen, if he’s happy, I’m happy. I think he’s a hell of a talent, and at the end of the day, it’s a business. For some reason with wrestling, it is looked at differently than any other sport. I see guys get traded to different teams all the time. That’s just life. So he did what he felt was best for him, and the company did what they felt was best for the company. So I just hope he’s happy. I wish him the best of luck.”

Coming to MJF, he recently cleared the air regarding the rumors of his contract extension with AEW.
MJF revealed the reality of his current AEW contract
CM Punk and MJF had their time together in AEW in late 2021. They almost destroyed each other with mics in their hands. The Salt of the Earth had the upper hand over Punk in the latter’s hometown. However, The Second City Saint heavily fired back in a bloody dog collar match at Revolution back in March.
While Punk had already ended his AEW streak for good, MJF, too, is yet to extend his almost terminated a contract with Khan.

Although, he depicted his wish to stay longer in AEW but the contract status should be a matter to take notice of for fans.
