Fans are always curious to know about their favorite wrestlers’ contract status as it eventually moves to speculation about their future destination. Recently one of the FTR members, Dax Harwood, shed light on the tag team’s decision and choice between AEW and WWE. Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler of FTR had been away from the ring by their own choice, for they were still not sure about their next move after their contract with AEW ends in the coming April.
However, after a lot of anticipation over a few weeks, the former ‘The Revival ‘ marked their presence during last Sunday’s AEW Revolution pay-per-view.

Coming to WWE, the duo achieved a fair amount of accolades, including NXT tag team championships and a few more. Eventually, they seemingly got discontent with their booking and joined AEW following their WWE release in 2020. But amid their time off from AEW, WWE fans get quite excited, hoping for their potential return to the Stamford-based promotion.

While the past weekend’s AEW return of the FTR almost faded away that hope, Harwood’s further comment on this made it even more disappointing for the fans. During a recent episode of ‘FTR with Dax Harwood’, the tag team member explained how he would like to continue with AEW and not WWE for good reasons.
Reflecting on one valid ground, Hardwood noted, ‘Our choice, right now, is strictly on happiness. The pros of staying in AEW is the great schedule where I can come home and be with my family. The pros of WWE is they are the number one money-making wrestling company in the world. They can offer us a great deal, but I don’t feel we could have the kind of schedule we would like.’
A bunch of other positives of AEW perfectly accompanied the convenient schedule
Signing with AEW will not only give them a suitable schedule but also a bunch of opportunities. According to Hardwood, ‘Another pro for AEW is that, unless Tony changes his mind come April, we would be able to do independent bookings, great relationship with New Japan, doing Comic Cons and meeting our fans.
“Strictly comes down to happiness. I don’t want to say that report is right or wrong because it doesn’t matter. Half the people are going to on Twitter and say I’m lying or trying to work.”, he added.
