Tony Khan recently shared a statement on Twitter that explained how he makes booking decisions. The AEW head honcho said in a specific line that he books AEW for sick wrestling fans since he, too, is a sick follower of the sport. He wrote the words “To The Sickos” during this tweet, and the catchphrase quickly gained popularity.

AEW saw an opportunity to do some business from this catchphrase too, which is why they had their designer team customize a proper T-shirt merchandise for this catchphrase which is a top marketing move by the company. In the tweet, Khan stated, I book wrestling for the sickos because that’s what I am and that’s who I care about. #AEWDynamite #AEWRampage #AEWCollision #ForbiddenDoor”
