When it comes to NBA Legends, Shaquille O’Neal needs no introduction. From being a Hall of Famer in the NBA to a wrestling star, he’s done it all. Not only appeared in WWE, but he also appeared on AEW. With a victory in his debut match, fans enjoyed his appearance. However, he hasn’t been seen in AEW until Tony Khan recently took a picture with him.
With AEW Big Business coming next month in Boston, could this be a hint of what will come? The show is already highly anticipated, with the possibility of the debut of Mercedes Mone.

During her debut on AEW, Jade Cargill interrupted Cody Rhodes while teasing the arrival of Shaquille O’Neal. This took place on November 11, 2020. Shaq finally made his appearance at Being The Elite. Following this, he appeared for an interview with Brandi Rhodes. It wouldn’t be until March 3, 2021, when Shaq would finally make his in-ring debut. Teaming up with Cargill, he took on Rhodes and his wife Brandi. Being the great sportsman he is, Shaq even paid tribute to the late Brodie Lee. Cargill and Shaq ended up winning the match.

However, since then, he hasn’t seen in AEW, and it’s been years now. Taking to social media, Khan posted a picture with the NBA star. Khan captioned it, “Still undefeated in @AEW, the greatest man ever @SHAQ!”
This got fans wondering why Khan would do this now, and could there be talks about his return? The discussion went viral on Khan’s X account. This led to many fans speculating that Shaq could make a return at AEW Big Business as it is their most hyped upcoming event.
