In a recent episode of AEW Dynamite, Tony Khan stunned us, spilling with multiple plans for the Big Business PPV. These included teasing a high-profile debut of former WWE star Sasha Banks. Fans were on their toes to not miss out on the intriguing details engraved in the graphics. Later, Khan’s way of highlighting Boston again and again in his speeches and a few of Mone’s old tweets caught fire in the rumors of a possible AEW debut for the former NPJW star. It officially ended the residual hope of WWE fanatics to get The Boss in action back in a WWE ring, ever. At such a time, WWE struck a chord by triggering their fans’ memories. The promotion uploaded the full telecast of the iconic WrestleMania 36 match between Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair on their official YouTube channel.

However, even if the video activates the feel-good hormone in fans for some time, Sasha Banks’ bitter WWE reality is still going to be a constant.

Since her NXT debut in 2012, Sasha Banks spent a prosperous time of her career in the Stamford-based promotion until a creative disagreement with Vince McMahon bulked large. It culminated in the immediate walkout of Mone and her tag teammate mate Naomi back in 2022. Although she rebuilt her footing in the sport after joining her dream promotion NPJW later on, WWE Universe still daydreamed about a potential return. Nevertheless, their hearts skipped a beat with the emergence of a shocking report. Fightful Select revealed that Mercedes Moné and WWE ”are no longer in active negotiations regarding a return.”. Although both parties engaged in discussions, they failed to reach a consensus at the end.
