One thing that has been on everyone’s mind is where Mercedes Mone will head next following her NJPW contract expiry. While both WWE and AEW were at the top of the speculation list, it seems like AEW is leading the race. Just a few weeks ago, Banks had dropped a hint which suggested that she might have completed working on her debut promo for AEW. However, The Boss is not slowing down as she was recently spotted training inside the ring, hinting at her big promotion debut.
Is it Sasha Banks’ time?
Taking to Instagram, the former WWE superstar shared a series of images in which she could be seen training inside the ring. In the pictures, she could be seen training with former WWE and AEW star, Shawn Spears at his Flatbacks Wrestling School, in Apopka, Florida. They usually provide an 8-week course and if we look at the current workshop, it started on January 8 and will end on March 1, two weeks before the AEW Big Business.

The AEW Dynamite Big Business is scheduled for March 13, 2024, at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. While there has been no official announcement or even the slightest hint, fans believe that her AEW debut is on the horizon and will happen on this show.
The reason behind it is that during a recent interview, the President of AEW, Tony Khan urged fans to come to “Bossston” for the Big Business. Khan’s emphasis on “Boss” made fans suspicious as it was Banks’ alias during her WWE days.

AEW’s Big Business, thanks to Mone
With the upcoming PPV, the buzz is that Banks might debut at AEW. While it is still a speculation, fans rushed to get the pre-sale tickets of Big Bussiness. The current setup for the PPV is 5,882 and they have already sold more than 75% of the available tickets. It looks like Tony Khan might consider making some changes to the total capacity.

However, that’s not all. Apart from big sales, legendary in-ring commentator and John Cena’s father, John Cena Sr. has recently dropped a tweet in favor of AEW’s upcoming PPV. While he did mention that it is time for some big business for AEW, he is just as clueless as the fans are as to what the “big business” might be. Let us know in the comments below whether you think it’s time Sasha Banks makes her AEW debut and change the whole game.
