It was recently reported that former WWE superstar Ricochet has signed a multi-year contract with AEW. Because of this marquee signing, suspicions about Samantha Irvin joining AEW grew significantly. This post included two photos of Irvin playing basketball, displaying her abilities and athletic appearance. Her choice of caption proved the most interesting as it has close connotations to AEW. Irvin’s caption stated “double or nothing.”

This is considered enormous since Double or Nothing is a massive AEW Premium Live Event. The Florida-based promotion always lays out the red carpet for this marquee event and Samantha Irvin’s use of its name in her tweet came out of nowhere. PWInsider had reported in June that the new AEW star’s departure from WWE didn’t affect Irvin’s standing in the company.
