The Tribal Chief has undoubtedly made his mark on the Stamford promotion. His legendary reign as champion came to an end after 1316 days, with Cody Rhodes being able to put an end to a sensational epic in the main event of Night 2 of the fortieth edition of the Showcase of the Immortals.

No one in recent years has achieved this feat. The end of Roman Reigns’ era at WrestleMania 40 now opens up inevitable questions about his future. What’s next for the Tribal Chief? And what’s next for the Bloodline? Well, AEW talent Thunder Rosa recently tried answering the question.

AEW talent Thunder Rosa recently was a part of the Busted Open Podcast where they talked about all things wrestling. And one topic that they came across was what’s next for the Bloodline and especially the Tribal Chief. Trying to answer the question, Thunder Rosa claimed that the WWE has already started planning for what to do in the long run. She said, “That is so important and has been important too is when somebody like a Tribal Chief loses the title. Somebody as prominent as he is loses the title. Like how do you continue to make him important in any storyline in wrestling? Right. It could be with anybody that has been in this situation. And I think, and he made me think of how important it is to create a story after the main story and how are you going to do it successfully? And I think they’re planting the seeds.”

She continued, “It’s becoming, again, people are getting, they’re still interested in what’s going to happen. And I’m not talking about what’s going to happen next week. I’m talking about what’s going to happen the next couple of months.” Well, then it surely looks like Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga attacking Jimmy Uso for his loss against his brother is the first step of the plan. Also, hinting at a new Tribal Chief gives a new and intriguing element to the storyline. And with Tonga on their side, the future looks tough for Roman Reigns. But who is this new player in the game? Who is Tama Tonga?

Born on October 15, 1982, Tama Tonga and his younger brother Taula (Hikuleo) were adopted by Tonga Fifita (better known as Haku or Meng). The two also have an adopted brother, Tevita, who wrestles under the ring name Tanga Loa. Tonga trained under the Dudley Boyz and Ricky Santana. He previously worked in NJPW where he won the NEVER Openweight Championship four times. He is also the co-founder of the legendary BULLET CLUB with Prince Devitt (WWE’s Finn Balor), Bad Luck Fale, and Karl Anderson.

Tama Tonga and his family have no blood ties whatsoever to the legendary Samoan family Anoa’i/Fatu. It should be noted, however, that The Rock and other family members consider Haku (Tama’s adoptive father) as their “uncle” and that the two families are on excellent terms. So it looks like he will be wreaking havoc on the WWE roster being a part of the Bloodline. Nevertheless, what do you make of the AEW star’s thoughts on building towards a new dawn with long term storytelling aspects? Let us know in the comments section below.
